How to play skribbl.io
One player draws. Everyone else types guesses. The highest score at the end wears the crown.

Research notes
I reviewed the official About text and client prompts on 13 October 2026. The drawer chooses an offered word and draws it without spelling the answer. Guessers see length-based underscores in Normal mode or three question marks in Hidden mode. These notes describe published controls and messages, not a completed gameplay test.
What happens in a round
The drawer gets 1 to 5 choices, depending on the host’s word count. Draw time defaults to 80 seconds in a public room according to the Fandom write-up, and the host can pick anything from 15 to 240 seconds. Public rooms are described there as 8 players, 80 seconds, 3 rounds, normal mode.
Guessing faster scores more. The drawer scores from how many people guess the word. If the timer ends with zero correct guesses, that round does not award points. I am not printing a per-second formula, because the client does not publish one.

Questions
How many players?
The host can set 2 to 20. You cannot start with fewer than 2.
Can I undo a stroke?
Yes. The 9 November 2022 news post added an undo button, and the client tooltip maps Undo to U.
