Invite link not copying or not opening
Separate a copying failure from a joining failure. Clipboard permission or a browser restriction may be involved; a room error needs its own check.

Research notes
The reviewed client names room errors such as not found, full, banned, already connected, and too many users on one IP. These messages guide the next check, but they do not measure how often a particular cause occurs.
When the button does not copy
Try selecting the full invite URL and copying it manually, or long-press it on a phone. If your browser shows a clipboard permission prompt for skribbl.io, review that setting. A clipboard restriction is one possible cause, not a diagnosis of every failed copy.
Send the full URL and compare the pasted text with the host's original. A truncated link may fail to identify the room. If they match, move on to the message shown by the game.
When the link opens and still fails
Match the sentence on screen to the join guide. For Room not found, ask the host for the current invite and check whether the room still exists. For Already connected, return to an existing tab or disconnect before retrying once.
Questions
The host can play but I cannot.
Ask whether the room is full or whether you were banned. Those are host-side states, not a bad copy.
We are on school Wi-Fi.
The client can refuse with “Too many users from your IP are connected to this room!” One network address is shared by the lab.
